She works with Disability Alliance BC as a Community Advocate in the Access DTC Program and is a leading expert on Disability Tax Credit (DTC) applications in Canada. Lauren specializes in supporting individuals and families in navigating the DTC process — helping people understand what they are entitled to, communicate their needs effectively in applications, and access the benefits connected to the DTC including the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) and the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB). She brings practical, lived-experience-informed expertise to systems that can feel overwhelming and inaccessible, and is deeply committed to ensuring that people with disabilities can access the financial supports they deserve.
