Central East – Peterborough – Adult Social Group: Terrarium Planting Workshop (autistic adults 18 years+)

Autistic adults 18 years+ are invited to join us for an evening of creativity, connection, and gardening. During this guided experience, each participant will create a one-plant succulent terrarium. You’ll choose your succulent, customize your soil, and visit the decoration bar to add personal touches to your terrarium. Step-by-step instructions will be provided throughout the workshop. No gardening experience is necessary. All materials will be provided. This event is for Autistic adults (18+) who attend events and programs independently, without careperson support, as well as for Autistic adults (18+) who require a careperson(s) to support them. Autism Ontario does not provide transfer-of- care or careperson support for its programs. If an Autistic person requires support to attend, the careperson is expected to remain on site to provide support as needed during the event or activity. If accommodations are needed, please inquire by emailing stephanie.maguire@autismontario.com Note: All participants are required to sign a Code of Conduct annually. Cost: $5.00/autistic adult.
