Registration opens July 10 @ 12 pm Join Autism Ontario Central East Region at Dave & Buster's Vaughan for some arcade! We will have the arcade all to ourselves for the first hour and a half. It will open to the public at 10:00 am. A limited number of tickets are available. A maximum of 3 autistic person/sibling tickets per family. Children must be present to pick up play cards. There is the option to purchase food at this event. However, families will be responsible for the cost of food and drink. This program is generously funded by our partners at Charitable Gaming Community Good through charitable gaming fundraising at Bingo World and Gaming Richmond Hill. It is intended to support autistic people and their families in York Region and those that live outside of this area may have their registration cancelled. Important details: This event is for autistic individuals, their siblings and caregivers. Play bands will be handed out between 8:30 am and 10:00 am. After this time, staff will no longer be on-site, and any unclaimed tickets will be forfeited. Please plan accordingly. Families are welcome to stay. After 10:00 am, Dave and Buster's is open to the public, and families are welcome to stay. Your Power Card will be active until 2:00 pm. Warning: There will be flashing lights and loud noises in the arcade, and it is not recommended for those with photo or audio sensitivities. A maximum of 3 autistic person/sibling tickets per family. Children must be present to pick up play cards. Once your registration is successful, you will receive an automatic confirmation. If you have not received an email, be sure to check your spam/junk folders. Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer-of-care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain on-site. Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
