Registration opens July 6th, 2026 12pm Join Autism Ontario at The Loft Cooking School at Longo’s Leaside location for a fun and interactive cooking class. The Loft cooking school is all about making good food fun and encouraging individuals to experiment with flavors. Our menu will be created using fresh, wholesome ingredients with the aim of teaching budding chefs to cook and bake from scratch. Please email joy.alma@autismontario.com with any food sensitivities or allergies Program Location: The Loft Cooking School (upstairs) Longo’s Leaside, 93 Laird Drive, Toronto, Ontario, M4G 3T7 Registration cost: $5 per person. Support workers/Caregivers are welcome to participate. Tickets are required for adults and supporters Menu: A Tuscan Lunch - Schiacciata (Tuscan flatbread), Arugula and Dried fruit Salad, Tuscan Apple Cake Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued. Date and time: Friday August 7th 12-2pm This event is for Autistic adults (18+) who attend events and programs independently, without careperson support, as well as for Autistic adults (18+) who require a careperson(s) to support them. Autism Ontario does not provide transfer-of-care or careperson support for its programs. If an Autistic person requires support to attend, the careperson is expected to remain on site to provide support as needed during the event or activity. If accommodations are needed, please inquire by emailing (organizer). All participants are required to sign a Code of Conduct annually.
