Registration opens June 17 2026 @12:00pm Join Autism Ontario for a sensory-inclusive Pop-Up Playground experience with Timmins Fitness Alternatives. TFA in partnership with Autism Ontario are working to end the era of “nothing to do in the North” by bringing to the doorsteps of Northern Ontario communities barrier-free access to a broader recreational opportunities for families of diverse demographics. TFA is aiming to cover a geographic service area of 800,000 square kilometers of underserved rural communities in Northwestern and Northeastern Ontario and Western James Bay due to accessibility challenges with the long Trans-Canada Highway stretches with limited services. This event will feature a variety of fitness equipment and recreation opportunities for children aged 0-12. Spots are limited, so please register. Registered families will receive an email closer to the event date with any and all updates pertaining to this event. If you have not received an email, be sure to check your spam/junk folders. Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite. Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
