Registration opens August 12, 2026 @12:00pm Bats are fascinating creatures that are important in our communities. And guess what? They live in our backyard! Enjoy a presentation then venture into a park as community scientists to listen to bats through a special bat detector! Cost: $5 per participant. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued. Location: Cedar Brook park, 91 Eastpark Blvd, Scarborough. TRCA education staff will meet the Autism Ontario families in the main carpark. Date and Time: September 12, 6:30-8pm. Sunset is roughly around 7.30. Hopefully we will be able to see the bats as they come out to feed around dusk, before it gets too dark to see them clearly. Parking: Free Autism Ontario does not offer transfer-of-care. Caregivers must attend and remain on-site with their child.
