Azad Jammu & Kashmir's public Special Education Centre — free education and rehabilitation for children with disabilities including autism in Mirpur/Muzaffarabad.
Run by the Department of Social Welfare, AJK. The only government special-education facility serving the entire AJK region. Capacity 100 students per centre; offers special education, physiotherapy, speech therapy, audiometry, vocational/computer training and parent counselling. Historically focused on hearing/visual impairment but expanding to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental needs.
