Bahrain's first dedicated autism society — runs Alia Center, employment training, and advocacy for autistic individuals and their families.
BSCBCD was established to promote lifelong access and opportunity for individuals with behavioural and communication difficulties. It operates the Alia Center for Early Intervention and runs the Employment Facilitation Training Service (EFTS) program in partnership with Tamkeen and Project SEARCH — the first such ASD employment training initiative in the region.
