One support person travels free on GO Transit and UP Express when accompanying a customer who needs assistance.
Under the Metrolinx support-person policy, one support person travels free on GO Transit and UP Express when accompanying a customer who requires assistance to travel. The customer pays their own regular fare.
Eligibility
Customer requires a support person to travel. Proof accepted includes a GO support-person sticker (PRESTO), an Access2 Card, or CNIB documentation.
How to apply
Carry accepted proof (GO support-person sticker, Access2 Card or CNIB card). See the GO Transit accessibility page to request a support-person designation on your PRESTO card.
