School readiness and early-intervention programs across all seven emirates that help children with special needs — autism, developmental delays, and learning difficulties — build the communication, social, and pre-academic skills to transition into nursery, kindergarten, or primary school. Delivered through both government "People of Determination" centres and private specialized centres.

<h2>School Readiness Programs in the UAE (Special Needs)</h2>

Across the UAE, school readiness for children with special needs is delivered through two channels: government People of Determination and autism centres (often free or subsidised, with priority for Emirati nationals) and private specialized centres (fee-based, open to all nationalities). Most combine a developmental assessment, an individualised plan, and therapy-led teaching such as ABA, speech, and occupational therapy to prepare children for a structured classroom.

Programs are available in every emirate.
