How to apply
1. Request an EHC needs assessment from the LA — parent, school, or young person (16+) may request. 2. LA decides within 6 weeks whether to assess. 3. Assessment evidence collected from education, health, social care. 4. Draft EHCP issued; family has 15 days to respond. 5. Final plan within 20 weeks of original request.
