CYC (Child and Youth Counsellor)
A trained professional supporting children and youth with mental health, behavioural, developmental, or social needs. Works in schools, residential programmes, community settings, and hospitals. Also called CYW (Child and Youth Worker). Typically a three-year community college diploma in Canada.
