EA (Educational Assistant)
A paraprofessional who supports students with additional needs in Canadian schools, working under the direction of the classroom teacher. EAs may help with learning, behaviour, communication, mobility, and personal care, and often implement IEP/IPP goals. The Canadian equivalent of LSA (UK/UAE) or Paraprofessional (US).
